I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience here, particularly with the lack of transparency around pricing.

I specifically called ahead because this office advertises itself as providing affordable dental care. When I asked what my appointment would cost, I wasn’t given a clear self-pay price and was instead told that they had different plans and options available.

I came in primarily because I needed a routine cleaning after not having one for about a year and a half. That said, I have no issues and it ended up being a standard cleaning. My appointment ended up lasting around 90 minutes and included X-rays, and when I checked out and explained that I may be moving soon and therefore wasn’t interested in signing up for one of their dental plans, I was charged $390.

$390 for what was ultimately an approximately 80-minute cleaning appointment is absolutely not what I expected from a practice marketing itself as affordable, especially after I specifically asked about pricing beforehand.

I understand that dental care costs money, and I’m happy to pay appropriately for professional care. My frustration is that I tried to get this information BEFORE my appointment and was not given a straightforward answer. Had I been told upfront that my visit would cost nearly $400 without enrolling in a plan, I could have made an informed decision about whether I wanted to proceed.

Patients deserve clear pricing when they ask for it. Finding out at checkout that a routine dental visit is almost $400 felt incredibly misleading, and unfortunately I would not return based on this experience.

While on a visit "home" to Boise, I decided to see if I could get into my "old" dentist's office to see if I could get some needed dental work done. It's nigh impossible to find a dentist taking new patients who accept my insurance in California, where I now live! While Dr. Lewis has retired the office in my neighborhood is still there. In spite of short notice and a small window of time, they welcomed me to come in for the work I needed. They are so friendly, professional and competent! I felt comfortable and confident in their expertise. They not only took care of replacing an old filling with a brand new crown, but they were able to do it in one visit! The office staff took care of all the insurance needs. I couldn't be happier. I will be a patient again when I can move home - and may even make visits for my dental needs until then!

I have a different hygienist each time I go in. They are all qualified but I’d like consistency. Not a fan of the ultrasonic cleaner but she used it anyway. Prior staff just went old school and I appreciated that. Then I had a separate person who did the post cleaning polishing. ??? Very nice person but why is someone else in my mouth for 5 minutes? The Dentist is great!

I’m glad she caught it early before it turned into a bigger problem, like a root canal. An Emergency Crown Experience That Exceeded All Expectations!

My recent emergency crown experience at Parkway Dental was truly outstanding, especially considering I was just visiting Boise and not a regular patient. When I called with my dental emergency, they were incredibly accommodating and managed to get me in within 24 hours.

From the moment I walked in, the entire staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, immediately putting me at ease. My dentist, Dr. Jessica Spencer, was absolutely excellent. She dedicated an impressive four hours to ensuring my crown was nothing short of perfect, and I truly appreciated how she involved me in every step of the process. Her meticulous attention to detail and commitment to my comfort were remarkable.

The dental hygienist was also a highlight – very personable and engaging, making the time in the chair fly by. To top it all off, the price was very fair, especially for such high-quality emergency care.

I cannot recommend Parkway Dental highly enough to anyone in the Boise area, whether you're a local or just passing through. They turned a stressful situation into a surprisingly positive experience!

I just switched to Parkway Dental Boise and after my first appointment today, I wish I had switched much sooner!

From my first conversation with Kori, everyone has been exceptional. Kori made it seamless to get signed up at their practice and secured my records from my previous dentist.

Jamie greeted me today and made sure everything was in order. Crystal was my dental hygienist and while she just joined this team, she is a seasoned professional and did an excellent job! She was thorough, patient, knowledgeable and personable.

Awesome people from start to finish. Called about a broken tooth in my front teeth and they got me in next day.for what turned into a 4 hour process. Left with a great smile. The Doctor was super professional and really good. Her assistant Brook was super friendly and reassuring the whole time.Tracy set me up financially and Jennifer the lead Hygienist set me up with a great plan going forward. It was almost pain free except when they made me laugh. Best dental experience I have ever had to be sure. I am actually looking forward to going back. That's saying something. Fast and efficient, I've been going to parkway since I was a child and not once have me or my family had a single complaint. They've easily ensured worry free visits every time. I would recommend this dental office to anyone with children or anyone tentative with dental work, they're caring and good at what they do. 5/5 🙂

Excellent Dental Office! Very kind and gentle. They have up to date/ latest equipment. Hygienists Jennifer and Michelle have many years of experience and are thorough and gentle. Dr Clawson is a perfectionist! As a retired hygienist of 42 years I highly recommend this dental office!

I really like parkway dental. Dr Beck is a great dentist. Very professional and kind. I don’t like them trying to sale me additional insurance for their work following a procedure. They should put that into the cost. I always feel they push to hard for me to purchase. This would be the only reason I would seek out a new dentist

I’ve had some pretty awful dental experiences in the past that have created a legit trauma response to dental work so I tend to be very skeptical when it comes to selecting a dentist. After searching up reviews on Parkway Dental, I decided to give them a try. Dr. Spencer and her team were very welcoming, supportive and friendly. We came up with a game plan right away and have been working through my dental issues. Each visit has been amazing and I’m so very thankful to have found this place! Dr. Spencer and her amazing assistants have made each visit comfortable and they’re always checking in on me to make sure I’m ok. I can’t express how much this means to me! After one of my visits I got emotional because of my overwhelming gratitude for this team! They truly care and the quality of their work demonstrates this! So grateful to have found this amazing team!! I’ve been telling everyone I know about Parkway Dental!

Parkway Dental is absolutely amazing! I trust any dentist in the group because they are all very knowledgeable and have the best bedside manner! The front office staff and hygienists are all so personable and upbeat! The entire office has such a positive vibe throughout!

I have been a patient at Parkway for years. Was one of those who hated going to the dentist. Had to have some major work done (periodontal) & when that was accomplished went back to regular dentistry. Dr. Beck, who by far is the BEST dentist I have ever had, & the staff have walked me through healing, implant & making sure my gums & teeth are healthy. Love my hygienist Jennifer. The entire staff are awesome. They never make you feel shame about what your teeth are like. I smile so much more because of them. Thanks Parkway - there are no words great enough for you. 😊

Been coming here for over 30 years and have never had a problem. They are wonderful people there. I love Tori my hygienist, she is so kind and gentle and thorough in taking care of my teeth. With Tyson as my dentist and his father before him they have all been wonderful. I would highly recommend them for anyone who is uneasy with dentists. They will set your worries at easy. They did mine over thirty years ago.
